Job Summary

As a Lobby Hostess, you are responsible for receiving and giving a warm welcome to our guests, providing an efficient and courteous approach at all times.

Job Description

As a Lobby Hostess, you are responsible for receiving and giving a warm welcome to our guests, providing an efficient and courteous approach at all times and your role will include key responsibilities such as:

  1. Meet and greet guests.
  2. Oversee catered functions, in-house and off site.
  3. Responsible for the overall sanitation and cleanliness of the lobby areas.
  4. Responsible for consistently implementing the service standards and operating procedures in the guest relation operations.
  5. Should be able to work under pressure and also work in long or break shifts
  6. Should have experience in operating sales and catering software like Opera, Fidelio etc.
  7. Offer consistently professional, friendly, warm and engaging service. Be available for guests at all times as a point of contact Be available for guests at all times as a point of contact 8. Always be present in lobby area.
  8. To meet and exceed guest expectations through consistent delivery of service levels in line with brand requirements.
  9. Maintain effective communication with all related departments to ensure a smooth service delivery
  10. Extend personal service and attention to all guests, with particular emphasis to VIP guests
  11. Ensure that the rooming of all guests is according to the standards Maintain an up to date knowledge of the hotel and local services, information and respond to guest queries.
  12. Deal promptly, efficiently and pleasantly with any queries
  13. Establish, promote and maintain good public relations and enhances sales for the hotel at every opportunity 15. To maintain the ambiance of the hotel lobby.

    Conditions:

    Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time.

    Education: Diploma in hotel related Experience:

    Previous experience in similar Job role or minimum 1-year experience. Experience in hotel background is an added advantage.
