Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Trainers in the following areas:

  1. Hospitality Management,
  2. Events Management,
  3. Culinary Operations,
  4. Culinary Arts,
  5. Housekeeping & Laundry,
  6. Food & Beverage,
  7. Catering & Accommodation,
  8. Baking Technology.

The successful candidates will have a strong background in their respective fields, with a passion for teaching and mentoring students in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Instructional Delivery:
    • Prepare and deliver instructional activities, lessons, and demonstrations.
    • Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and accommodate different learning styles.
  2. Curriculum Development:
    • Participate in the development and review of curriculum and course materials.
    • Ensure course content aligns with the latest industry trends and practices.
  3. Assessment and Evaluation:
    • Develop and implement assessment methods to evaluate student learning and skill development.
    • Provide constructive feedback to students.
  4. Student Support:
    • Provide academic and career advice to students.
    • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  5. Professional Development:
    • Continually update knowledge and skills in the subject area and in teaching methods.
  6. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with other faculty and staff to support student learning and success.
    • Participate in departmental and college meetings and committees.
  7. Industry Engagement:
    • Maintain connections with industry professionals and employers.
    • Facilitate opportunities for students to gain practical experience and to network with industry professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in the respective area.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience in a TVET institution is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
  • Current knowledge of industry practices and trends.
