The Palladium Group seeks Nakuru-based staff for its newly awarded County Measurements, Learning, and Accountability Program II (CMLAP II). All staff must be fluent in written and spoken English and Swahili; and able and willing to travel frequently within Kenya to work under field conditions. Experience on USAID-funded programs, and/or with county health governance in Narok, Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Turkana, Samburu, Baringo, Kiambu, and/or Kitui, is desired. Knowledge Management [KM) Advisor
S/he ensures project results are collected, disseminated and communicated for different audiences. S/he supports counties in improving the MLA framework and strengthens their communications mechanisms and networks. S/he guides the design of a communications strategy and production of innovative communication tools, products and platforms for the project; building capacity of staff and project partners through training and mentoring to apply communication in their contexts.
• A university degree in Communications, Journalism, International Relations or a relevant field
• 8 years' experience in KM/Communications. Preference given to candidates with experience in
i) public health; and
ii) information systems strengthening
iii) USAID development projects.
• Strong writing, communications, photo editing, and desktop publishing skills. Samples may be requested
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; excellent interpersonal and communications skills
