IFROH is doing a randomized trial of antenatal corticosteroids for PMTCT women with a high probability of birth in the late preterm period. The project is being conducted at a hospital facility conducted at a hospital facility
The Position
The position is based in Mombasa, Busia, Kitui, Migori, Kilifi, Nyamira counties
Job Description
• Screen and enroll eligible participants in the study by ensuring proper administration of consent procedures.
• Administer screening and enrollment questionnaires to the participants.
• Maintain register of all randomized participants.
• Ensure data is collected accurately and resolve any discrepancies with the data team.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for the study coordinator.
Job Specifications
• An applicant must have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent with a pass in English.
• He or she must have a Diploma in Kenya Registered Nurse Midwife or Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse or a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
• He or she must have at least one (1) year working experience, post qualification, in a busy maternity unit.
• Applicants should have experience in research and possess a practicing GHI Clinical trial license
Terms of appointment
This a position whose tenure is one (2) years contract renewable based on performance, donor funding, and by mutual consent. The salary is negotiable depending on the level of education and work experience.
