Chlor-Clean: a disinfectant for Nursing and Care Homes.
This product is recommended by Infection Control Nurses for the disinfection of Care homes and Nursing homes. It is used to both clean and disinfect all surfaces, touch points and floors, as well as trolleys and patient associated equipment such as commodes, bed frames and mattress covers etc.
One Chlor-Clean tablet dissolved in 1 litre of cold tap water using the diluter that comes with the tablets makes a 1,000ppm chlorine solution as recommended by the Department of Health for the disinfection of environmental surfaces.
Chlor-Clean has been proven by an independent UKAS accredited testing laboratory to be effective against a wide range of micro-organisms by the following European Norm Standards: EN 16615: 2015 for bacteria and yeasts, EN 14476: 2015 for viruses (including norovirus), EN 13704: 2002 for Clostridium difficile, EN 1276 further testing on common vegetative bacteria, EN 1275 further testing on yeasts and fungi.
