The Eburu forest comprises of prime indigenous forest nestled within the folds of a geologically active volcanic mountain. The mountain’s highest peak Ol Doinyo Eburu stands at 2,820 metres above sea level.
A hike to Eburu starts at Central block at the main gate. The trail leads you into thick dry upland forest up and down scenic valleys. After the ridge, the trail leads you into another valley with crystal clear stream running southwards.
