0800hrs: Depart For Nakuru
1000hrs: Arrival at Nakuru, Check in procedures at one of the lodges and camps.
1100hrs: Game drive at Lake Nakuru National park. Here, you will be able to see different kinds of birds, zebras and buffalos relaxing along the lake shores and some inside the lake
1100hrs: Visit to Baboon Cliff which is located on one of the highest points on the hills surrounding the lake with stunning views and a picnic site where visitors can get off and enjoy the scenery. Visit Makalia falls for breath taking sceneries then head to Rhino Sanctuary located inside the park and learn more about Rhinos
1400hrs: Drive back to the base camp or lodge for relaxation and late lunch.
1800hrs: Dinner and overnight stay
0800hrs: Breakfast at the base lodge or camp.
0900hrs: Check out procedures from the lodge or camp followed by a drive to menengai crater.
1000hrs: Arrival at the Menengai Crater. This extinct volcano on the northern side of Nakuru is 2490 m high and is the second largest surviving volcanic crater in the world, with a surface area of 90 sq km. The Maa word Menengai means 'the dead’. The crater itself is enormous, about 12 km across and 500 m deep. The mountain is surrounded by a nature reserve.
1200hrs: Late lunch at Nakuru town in one of their hotels and finally proceed to Naivasha.
1330hrs: Drive to Hell’s Gate National Park. It lies south of Lake Naivasha in Kenya. It is named after a narrow break in the cliffs, once a tributary of a prehistoric lake that fed early humans in the Rift Valley. It is known for its wide variety of wildlife and for its scenery. This includes the Fischer's Tower and Central Tower columns and Hell's Gate Gorge. The national park is also home to three geothermal power stations at Olkaria.
1900hrs: Check in procedures at the preferred camp or lodge
2000hrs: Dinner at the preferred camp or lodge followed by an overnight stay
0800hrs: Early morning breakfast
0900hrs: Morning boat ride of Lake Naivasha after breakfast. Here, you will be able to see different kinds of birds and buffalos relaxing along the lake shores and some inside the lake
1200hrs: Depart for Nairobi. Have some snacks at the new Galitos Restaurant before the view point. Stop over at the Rift Valley View Point for some sightseeing. Have a chance to buy Maasai ornaments and see their handy works. Here, you will be able to have a great view of the rift valley landscape and the escarpments. The Great Rift Valley is a large trench that runs through Kenya from north to south. It is part of the Gregory Rift, the eastern branch of the East African Rift, which starts in Tanzania to the south and continues northward into Ethiopia.
