Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
Recognize the needs of the consumer and provide detailed information to the consumer about the technical specifications of the computer software offered by the company.
Learn about new products launched by the company and develops sales strategy to generate sales.
Do regular check with the existing customers if any new requirements arise.
Solicits information about software needs from customers and other sources.
Maintain daily log of sales activities.
Once sale is made, liaise with Development and Implementation team and get the software deployed.
Travel across the country to open new markets.
Stay abreast of market trends.
Demonstrate product features before a sale.
Respond to pre-qualification questionnaire or information to tender document.
Negotiate a commercial agreement.
Help customers maximize the use of software features.
Great communication skill is a must
Must be able to work alone or with little supervision
Proven experience as a sales executive or relevant role
Proficiency in English
Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
Fast learner and passion for sales
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
