We are looking for Sales Executives for our Nairobi based company whose outbound Sales Team will be based in livestock catchment areas in Kenya. Your entrepreneurial spirit, attitude and passion for problem-solving will help you find opportunities for Myfugo to help livestock farms grow.

Your extraordinary communication skills help you connect with customers personally, by email and phone - quickly establishing trust and rapport, and building value throughout the sales process. This is a chance to join a newly formed team, giving you the opportunity for upward growth and mobility within one of the key players in the software industry. Sales Executives will be responsible for lead follow-up, cold calling, scheduling discovery calls, software demonstrations, training, managing sales cycles, forecasting and closing business opportunities. This position reports to the Business Development Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  • Consistently attain and exceed Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Sales goals
  • Develop your Sales Plan designed to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quota
  • Coordinate with internal departments to drive success, quota attainment, activity management, and reporting accuracy
  • Participate in periodic ongoing training to improve your product knowledge and competitive position
  • Document all activities in CRM to increase efficiency in your daily time management and provide management visibility and reporting.
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share with Product and Marketing teams
  • Work with your Business Development Manager to achieve quota
  • Implement creative ways to improve our customer relationships, tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions
  • Act as an outward-facing ambassador of Myfugo’s beliefs, brand, and products
  • Communicate constantly with prospects via phone & email (80% of time)
  • Have fun and not take yourself too seriously

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or similar client-facing role
  • A certificate or BA/BS degree or relevant experience
  • Previous experience and/or strong interest in outbound sales and prospecting
  • Experience with the MS Office Suite and MS Outlook preferred
  • Ability to close deals is a must
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • An assertive, resilient and persuasive personality
  • An analytical, structured thought process with the ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective customers
  • The ability to garner support from internal experts and external partners to position Myfugo against competition
  • Genuine curiosity about people and business, and possess the innate ability to inspire passion in others especially in use of technology.
  • Coachability, appetite to learn and teach, interest in implementing feedback, and dedication to the consistent improvement of your craft
  • Experience providing presentations and demonstrating technology both online and face-to-face
  • The ability to adapt to new situations quickly and think on your feet
  • Hustle, tenacity and determination
