One of the leading distributor of EABL in Nairobi is hiring a Key Accounts Manager to build relationship, maintain high customer service engagement and achieve high sales target in those key accounts.

Job Purpose

The person will lead and manage the sales of Spirits & Beer range of products to the Key Account Clients, be responsible for achieving our ambitious growth plans and engage with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement sales strategies that will achieve and exceed budgeted levels of sales growth in all service lines.

Indicators of good performance of the job

  1. Customer care, satisfaction and retention
  2. Customer appraisal
  3. Reduced Complaints of customer
  4. Increased customer loyalty
  5. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  6. Increased Sales volume.

Key Duties

  • Tailor and negotiate contracts with Trade Accounts outlets and Operational teams regarding brands introduction, Stock Key Unit returns, Promotions, Sampling Activities and advertising of the company.
  • Responsible for orders generation and follow up on delivery.
  • Work towards achievement of sales targets set by management
  • Maintain constant client products awareness
  • Ensure proper visibility of the Stock Key Units in the outlets
  • Supervises and guide Salesmen Drivers.
  • Regular check on Trade Outlets Stocks and where possible to deliver stocks to the clients, if need arises.
  • To work closely with the business partner team in the market so as to improve and maintain customer’s service and product delivery.
  • To assist the Sales Manager in the running of the day-today sales office mandate.

  • Degree in Business related course.
  • Diploma / Certificate in Sales & Marketing.
  • Computer Literacy.
  • Possess driving license.
  • Three (3) years of experience in FMCG industry, ideally an Alcoholic beverages background.
  • Possess high level of integrity and honesty.
