The Human Resource Officer will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Educational Qualifications

  • At least a Diploma in Human Resource Management
  • A relevant degree is an added advantage
  • Valid certificate of good conduct
  • At least 28 years of age and above
  • At least 3 years experience
  • Good spoken and written English


  • Proven working experience as HR officer or other HR executive
  • People oriented and results driven with ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and Human Resource best practices.


  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall organization strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other issues
  • Support current and future organization needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintain organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, selection and interviewing program, counseling managers on candidate selection, conducting and analyzing exit interviews, recommending changes.
  • Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees, scheduling management meetings with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Maintain employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends, recommending benefit programs to management and directing the process.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
