JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary/Objective
The general manager directs and coordinates activities of the Credit Reference Bureau, a major division of the business organization and aids chief administrative officers in formulating and administering organization policies by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Generate collection and investigation business strategies to be implemented to achieve growth and profitability.
  2. Evaluate department and individual team performance and recommend appropriate intervention strategies.
  3. Lead execution of strategies in a highly effective and efficient manner to achieve high productivity.
  4. Supervise and Manage collection and investigation operations.
  5. Overseeing and directing all administrative functions to achieve high customer satisfaction and smooth flow of work.
  6. Formulating operating Policies, procedures and standards to control quality and quantity of work.
  7. Leading teams to achieve high motivation and morale of the employees.
  8. Review internal and external market information/feedback so as to identify new opportunities to increase the number of products and customers, achieve high quality of service and increase the revenues generated
  9. Review and lead modifications to existing products so as to respond and meet customer needs.

Required Education and Experience

  • MBA/MSC in any business related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or any other Business related field.
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in Credit Management or in a similar role, in senior management position..
  • Working knowledge of Credit Management.
  • Working knowledge of sales & Marketing.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Credit Management markets.

Supervisory Responsibility

The role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of direct reports and for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Travel
Occasional local travel is expected with this position.
