Bestcare Facilities Management is seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Hood Installation & Repair Technician to join our technical and commercial kitchen services team.

We are looking for a hands-on professional who can install, repair, and maintain kitchen hood systems, extraction units, and ventilation systems in both residential and commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Installing kitchen hoods, extractor systems, and ventilation units
Repairing faulty kitchen hoods and exhaust systems
Installing ducting systems and air extraction pipelines
Troubleshooting motor, fan, and electrical issues
Cleaning and servicing grease filters and exhaust systems
Ensuring proper airflow, suction, and ventilation efficiency
Conducting site inspections and system assessments
Advising clients on maintenance and system upgrades
Ensuring safe and professional installation standards
Responding to emergency repair and breakdown calls
Requirements

Applicants should have:

Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
Minimum 2 years experience in kitchen hood or ventilation systems installation/repair
Good understanding of electrical motors and airflow systems
Strong troubleshooting and technical repair skills
Ability to read and interpret installation layouts
Good customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently in field assignments
Honest, disciplined, and detail-oriented
Added Advantages
Experience in commercial kitchens (hotels, restaurants, institutions)
HVAC or ducting system experience
Driving license
Welding or fabrication skills
Ability to handle multiple site installations
