Bestcare Facilities Management is seeking a skilled and experienced Damp Proofing Technician / Waterproofing Technician to join our growing building maintenance and waterproofing team.

We are looking for a hands-on professional who can diagnose, treat, and prevent damp, leakage, and water infiltration issues in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Inspecting buildings for dampness, leakage, and water infiltration
Treating rising damp in walls using chemical or physical methods
Applying waterproofing membranes, coatings, and sealants
Repairing roof leaks, wall seepage, and basement moisture issues
Identifying sources of water ingress and recommending solutions
Carrying out injection waterproofing and surface sealing
Preparing surfaces before waterproofing application
Ensuring long-lasting moisture protection systems
Working on residential, commercial, and construction sites
Maintaining proper job reports and service records
Requirements

Applicants should have:

Certificate or hands-on experience in construction, masonry, plumbing, or waterproofing
Minimum 2 years experience in damp proofing or waterproofing works
Knowledge of building structures and moisture behavior
Ability to use waterproofing tools and materials safely
Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently on-site
Physically fit for construction-related work
Honest, disciplined, and detail-oriented
Added Advantages
Experience in basement or foundation waterproofing
Knowledge of chemical damp proofing injection systems
Driving license
Experience working on large commercial projects
Ability to supervise small site teams
