AQUACEL Ag Surgical is an antimicrobial surgical dressing with silver. The incorporation of ionic silver provides continuous antimicrobial activity for the duration of the dressing application. It is a sterile post-operative dressing, consisting of a central pad of Hydrofiber Technology and ionic silver, sewn with nylon and elastane thread. This pad is held in place by two layers of hydrocolloid and an outer top layer of polyurethane film.
