Our client, a high end safari company, is looking for a Finance Manager with business acumen for its office in Nairobi. Qualification Level: Bachelor Experience Level: Management level Experience Length: 10 years Job Description The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager and will be part of the local Management Team. He / she will advise the board on appropriate business planning and help in decision making processes to ensure that businesses are financially successful. This might involve advising on investments, savings, pensions or insurance products. Experience in the Tourism sector is a MUST! Responsibilities: Manage outsourced functions. Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment. Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements. Use hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company's borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions. Arrange for equity and debt financing. Invest funds. Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company. Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement. Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities. Participate in target costing activities to create products that meet predetermined price goals. Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Financing or Accounting. CPA K. Finalist. Over 10 years working experience. Good understanding of financial reporting standards. Excellent report writing and communication skills. Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills. Adaptability and behavioural flexibility. Strong interpersonal skills. Monthly Gross Salary: Kshs. 350,000 - 400,000 /= (USD 3,500 – 4,000) plus benefits. Deadline: 28th January 2018.
