recruit suitably qualified Kenya Citizens to fill the following vacant
Posts. Mathira Water and Sanitation Company is a Water Service Provider contracted by Tana Water Services Board to provide water and sanitation services under its licence in Mathira East and Mathira West Districts under the Water Act 2002. To strengthen our team of staff and leadership, we urgently invite applications from highly competent, proactive and self driven individuals to fill the following position within the company. Technical Services Manager 1 Post Key Responsibilities ? Reporting directly to the Managing Director. ? Planning, designing and implementation of water projects. ? Maintenance of water rising mains, services lines, sewerage pumping station, oxidation ponds, water treatment plant and meter maintenance workshops. ? Planning, designing, implementation and management of all major and minor water and sanitation projects ? Maintenance of all company technical records and designs ? Capable of developing departmental staff on Technical skills, culture change, customer relations, training and formulating staff motivation policies Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ? Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Water Engineering with at least three (3) years experience in managing water and sewerage services in a management position. ? Applicants with a Higher National Diploma in Water Technology and at least six (6) years experience in managing water and sewerage services in a management position will also be considered. ? The candidate should have a good demonstration of project management skills with adequate experience in operation and maintenance. ? The Board expects the suitable candidate to be highly innovative, team player, a person of proven integrity, self driven and motivated ? The candidate should be people oriented and have a demonstrated leadership qualities with high need for achievement.
